Materials required

Number flashcards/cut-outs of calendar (6 to 10) and beads/buttons.

Activity:

The  mother to encourage the child to arrange the cards from 6-10. After arranging, the child is asked to count the beads / buttons and arrange them under the number cards.

Physical Skills Development – Fine Motor skills

Makes shapes (square and circle) with play dough.

Parents to help their child to make shapes of square and circle with play dough.

6.Mind-Shapes

Cognitive Skills Development

Find the circle-shaped paper from a bowl.

Materials required

Paper cut in different shapes and a bowl.

Activity:

Mother to cut all the learned shapes from paper. There must be at least 3 cut-outs of each shape ( 3 circles, 3 squares, 3 rectangles, 3 triangles, and 3 semicircles). She then places these shapes in a bowl and mixes them properly. 

Later she asks her child to find and take out only circle shaped paper cut-outs from the bowl and place it on the floor.
